I played this game with my varsity field hockey team and it gave them quite the workout. The instructions are pretty simple to explain and the exercises are good as well. Great competitive game.
This fitness board game is perfect for those who want to work out but enjoy more of a randomizer experience.
For myself, I'm playing it solo, but you can play it in large groups, small groups, pairs, or solo.
Choose your Meeple playing piece, write your name and color on the board with the included dry erase marker, and roll the dice.
Move your piece, and do the exercises on the square you land on. There is a booklet with how to do each exercise, and a list of alternative exercises you can do If you have limitations and want to pump yourself up.
The game also includes random cards that you can save for later (such as do half the amount of the task ... like 30 seconds on planks instead of 1 minute) or play immediately.
It's definitely a great mix of cardio and strengthening exercises - and I found by adding weights in slowly with the exercises they work with ups the stakes of the game.
For me, it's definitely an enjoyable and inspirational way to exercise - at a lower cost than a monthly gym membership or annual online membership.
Board Gains is a great full body workout! Great game to get moving with family or friends (or by yourself) where ever you may be! Great for all fitness levels!
Super fun and amazing game. It’s easy to play with as many players as you want. It’s really good when you need more of a push to exercise because it’s makes you more competitive.
