I received this game for Christmas and love it so much. You could totally play it alone- but it’s so much better to play with a friend or group…. Or even your kid! It’s super easy to understand- everything is explained and pictured details. I played it with my teenager and we had so many chuckles while getting in a great workout. Planks… lol the best way to slow time down! I definitely recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun while doing some fit work. Grab a friend, some water, and get to it! We are better together!
Side note: you can definitely kick it up a notch by adding dumbbells and/or bands. Endless possibilities!

Got my personal trainer bf for his surprise party and invited his boss, business friends, and family w 80s themed and bright colours and had two teams compete playfully to burn off the bday cake! Everyone loved it, even the elderly that couldnt participate and just laughed and watched us sweat ha!

The first time I used it myself and my students really enjoyed it! Nothing wrong with a little competition!! For the price it was a no brainer to buy it. Especially since I had to use my own money!
I bought this game as a way to get students active in our homeroom class as well as a way for them to have fun with their classmates. The students worked incredibly hard and encouraged each other to complete the different challenges. It was a great experience!
My husband and I played the game. It was a fun, friendly competition. We made our target 7 gains. He completed 7 I completed the 5. The send back to high plank killed me. And I swear I landed on every single burpees square. It was a very hard but fun workout. So happy I bought this game! Our next plan is to have a couples competition
I played this game with my varsity field hockey team and it gave them quite the workout. The instructions are pretty simple to explain and the exercises are good as well. Great competitive game.
This fitness board game is perfect for those who want to work out but enjoy more of a randomizer experience.
For myself, I'm playing it solo, but you can play it in large groups, small groups, pairs, or solo.
Choose your Meeple playing piece, write your name and color on the board with the included dry erase marker, and roll the dice.
Move your piece, and do the exercises on the square you land on. There is a booklet with how to do each exercise, and a list of alternative exercises you can do If you have limitations and want to pump yourself up.
The game also includes random cards that you can save for later (such as do half the amount of the task ... like 30 seconds on planks instead of 1 minute) or play immediately.
It's definitely a great mix of cardio and strengthening exercises - and I found by adding weights in slowly with the exercises they work with ups the stakes of the game.
For me, it's definitely an enjoyable and inspirational way to exercise - at a lower cost than a monthly gym membership or annual online membership.
Board Gains is a great full body workout! Great game to get moving with family or friends (or by yourself) where ever you may be! Great for all fitness levels!
Super fun and amazing game. It’s easy to play with as many players as you want. It’s really good when you need more of a push to exercise because it’s makes you more competitive.

Played this game in the summer at the park and it was so fun ! The best part is that it’s using all of your body weight so no equipment needed . You can take this anywhere and it’s a fun to compete against your friends and get a great workout in the process !

The main difference between BoardGains Starter Edition and BoardGains Plus Edition is the number of exercises and the size of the board. The Starter Edition has 13 bodyweight exercises suitable for all fitness levels, while the Plus Edition has 20 exercises. Plus Edition includes additional game pieces and can accommodate up to 10 players, whereas the Starter Edition can accommodate up to 6 players. Plus has 3 sandtimers, while Starter has 2 sand timers.
