A Little Bit of Citrus... CILANTRO LIME CREMA (How to Recipes by Boardgains) - Boardgains

Fun fact about me is that I love going to restaurants and trying out new sauces & food. Crema was one of those sauces. I went to La Carnita restaurant and they had this sweet potato crema sauce which I fell in love with. Almost instantly I went to pinterest and started searching for crema sauces and then I stumbled upon a Cilantro Lime Crema and never looked back. It had another dynamic because it was made with sour cream and boy do I love sour cream especially with my potatoes! So I made this Cilantro Lime Crema and it hits the spot for tacos, dip for fries, plantain chips, etc.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Sour Cream

¼  Cup Cilantro

Juice and zest of one lime

Salt, to taste

Yield: 6 Servings

Directions:

  1. Wash all ingredients (Cilantro, Lime).
  2. Chop off the stems of the cilantro. And juice and zest 1 lime.
  3. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and combine well.
  4. Refrigerate in an airtight container. It is good for about 2 weeks.
