Another Session to Plan? Bring Out the Game.

One Goal. Every Team in the Game.

1. SET UP YOUR GROUP
Choose a Gains Goal—3, 5, or 7 laps. Give each player or team a game piece and workout zone. Review the exercises, movement options, and special spaces.

2. START TOGETHER
Each player or team rolls once to find its starting exercise. Head to the workout zones and wait for the countdown. Everyone begins together, completing exercises before returning for the next roll.

3. TRACK GAINS AND WIN
Keep rolling, moving, and exercising. Mark one Gain each time your piece completes a lap past GAINS START HERE. The first player or team to reach the Gains Goal wins.

See the flow from board to workout zone: roll, move, complete the exercise, and return. Teams play at the same time while the coach guides the session.

TEAM PLAY IN ACTION
20 Players. Four Teams. One Board.
Make four teams of five. Give each team one game piece, a workout zone, and a Captain and Co-Captain.
Teammates share their team’s exercise total. Once it’s complete, both leaders return to the board:
- Captain: Rolls the dice and moves the team’s piece.
- Co-Captain: Checks the move and helps announce the next exercise.
Both leaders rejoin their team for the next exercise. You coach movement, pacing, and teamwork across the group.
Want to share leadership? Rotate these roles after each Gain.

Is BoardGains Right for My Group?
Here are the most common questions trainers and coaches ask.
How many people can play at once?
Starter supports up to 6 players or teams per board; Pro supports up to 10. Each game piece can represent a whole team. For example, 20 participants can play as four teams of five using one board. Choose your setup around the available space, supervision, and access to the board.
How long does a BoardGains workout take?
As a guide, 3 Gains takes about 10–15 minutes, 5 Gains about 15–25 minutes, and 7 Gains about 25–35 minutes of gameplay. Times vary with your group, pace, and exercise choices. Allow time for warm-up, review, setup, and cooldown. Set a gameplay time limit when your session needs a firm finish.
Do I still need to plan and coach?
Yes. You decide how the game fits your session, organize the space, teach movements, and coach throughout. BoardGains provides the game format and exercise sequence. It’s a class tool you can use alongside your wider training program.
Do we need gym equipment or a large space?
Weights and machines aren’t required—the exercises use bodyweight. You do need enough clear space for participants to perform the movements and for team leaders to reach the board. Larger groups need larger workout areas.
Can beginners and experienced participants play together?
Yes. Choose suitable exercise options and coach pace, technique, and rest. In team play, participants can share the team’s exercise total according to their abilities.
Will every workout be the same?
Dice rolls and Lucky? cards can change how a match unfolds, although exercises may repeat. You can also switch teams, change the Gains Goal, and adjust movement options to suit your session.
Can I use it outdoors, and how should I care for it?
Yes. Choose a dry, level area with enough room to move. Keep the board and cards dry, secure loose pieces in windy conditions, and pack the game away after use.
Where do you ship?
